We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Interior Designer to contribute to our ongoing projects. As this is a demanding and ever changing industry, we look forward to this opportunity to find the right fit to join our small, but mighty team!!
Assist the Principle Designer in creating concepts, design drawings, & schedules
Source finishes, fixtures, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, hardware & accessories
Prepare internal/external presentations
Prepare preliminary FF&E budgets for review by Principal Designer
Ensure regular reviews at key design stages with Principal Designer
Travel to job sites, showrooms, vendors as needed
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates MUST meet the following qualifications to be considered
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
3-5 year’s experience in a residential design firm / setting
Knowledge of local and online showrooms, resources and industry trends
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign. Revit a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud based file systems (Google Drive, Drop Box, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Feel comfortable and confident communicating with vendors/ subs / clients
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task and negotiate conflict in an ever changing environment
Have the ability to manage their workload independently on multiple projects simultaneously, while still working as a team with others
Must have a car
