Nicole designed a modern, edited space prioritizing scale and function. She selected a warm, neutral palette for walls and fabrics throughout, and she introduced textures and colors through the wall coverings, the rich walnut tones of the furniture pieces, a sisal rug, and the bold contemporary pieces of art commissioned for the space. The custom walnut island attachment functions as a dining table, buffet, or desk. Well-proportioned lower pieces in the living room ensure clear views of the city.
